Material Coordinator

For one of our clients in the oil&gas industry we are looking for a Material Coordinator.

Our client is established in 11 countries worldwide and is active in the energy and water sectors. In the Netherlands, they operate as a producer of natural gas and are co-owner and operator of two gas storage facilities.

What will you do
Responsible for safe and efficient housekeeping and material handling, responsible for safe and efficient cargo handling of supply vessels, assists other departments as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of field operations and facilities by routine ‘safety check’ inspections
• Carries out duties of the emergency team assignment list during drills and emergencies.
• Maintains & administers hoisting equipment and materials
• Responsible for safe and efficient handling and disposal of waste.
• Responsible for safe and efficient cargo handling of supply vessels, ensuring manifests, dangerous good declarations are accurate and up to date.
• Responsible for maintaining gutters and drains are clean from debris.

Requirements

What we search for in you
We’re happy to hear from professionals with a relevant technical education and 5+ years relevant experience. In this role you'll require both Dutch and English language skills.

We'd like to see as many of the following skills on your CV:

• Certification: Possession of a forklift and reach truck certificate and VCA diploma.
• Knowledge of safety regulations: Understanding of all safety regulations related to forklift use and working in the warehouse, including wearing the appropriate safety equipment.
• Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, including following instructions.
• Administrative tasks and computer skills: Ability to perform basic administrative tasks, such as filling out freight documents, recording goods received and shipped, and sufficient knowledge to work with the Microsoft Office package.
• Willingness to perform other tasks: The forklift driver must be willing to take on other tasks such as housekeeping (cleaning duties), maintenance of the forklift or warehouse equipment, and other general warehouse tasks.
