Lead Inspector

For one of our clients in the oil&gas industry we are looking for a Lead Inspector.

Our client is established in 11 countries worldwide and is active in the energy and water sectors. In the Netherlands, they operate as a producer of natural gas and are co-owner and operator of two gas storage facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve of (risk based) inspection plans, drafted by Inspectors
  • Review and approve of repair plans, drafted by Engineering or Maintenance
  • Review and approve inspection reports, generated by the inspectors
  • Manage inspection management tool
  • Prepare and maintain a long-term inspection planning
  • Monitoring compliance with WBDA for all Pressure Equipment operated by TAQA Energy Upstream
  • Liaise with NL-CBI (Applus)
  • Manage the inspection performance of the inspectors
  • Perform field inspections
  • Coordinate work with Maintenance for execution (via Maximo)
  • Report monthly KPI’s

Requirements

We’re happy to hear from professionals with a Bachelor’s degree (HTS) in relevant engineering discipline or significant experience in a similar role. At least five years of experience with inspection of Pressure Equipment, preferably in the (E&P) industry. In this role you'll require both Dutch and English language skills.

We'd like to see as many of the following skills on your CV:

  • Certificate I&K III or certificate LPI/IWE
  • Familiar with mechanisms of degradation, effectiveness of inspection and NDT methods, evaluation of results and incidents, assessment of boundaries for service, RBI methods and measures to assure maintenance, inspection and process
  • Knowledge of QA/QC principles, applicable EU and Dutch legislation and HSSE standards (ISO, OHSAS)
  • Excellent communications
  • Teamplayer
  • Stakeholdermanagement
  • Willingness to travel offshore (3 a 4 times a year)
  • You live in a maximum of 45 minutes driving from the control room
